$22 Million Double Whammy

Imagine if you had all 6 numbers for Saturday nights Tattslotto superdraw 2697. That night your head would be buzzing, wondering just how many other people you would have to share the $22 Million on offer. On a typical Saturday superdraw you normally get around 1 winner per million jackpotted, so you would of expected between 15 to 20 winners.

Powerball Jackpots to $30 Million!

With no division 1 winners last night (draw 573), Powerball has jackpotted to an incredible $30 Million AUD.

Last night I (actually, it was my 7 year old son's numbers) managed to match 3 main numbers plus the powerball giving me a $108.20 AUD return. Just a few decimal places short of what I had wanted.

Looks like I'll be working at least up to next Thursday night then.....

What is Powerball?

3. Play the Field - Also known as "Guarantee the Powerball". Select 5 main numbers from 1 to 45, with all the powerball numbers selected. Pros - No need to worry about matching the Powerball number. All you need is 2 main number matches to get a small prize. If you do happen to match the main five numbers, you'll win division 1 once and division 2 forty-four (44) times!!. Cons - Only 5 main numbers.
   
4. Systems with the powerball guaranteed. Select up to 24 main numbers and with all the Powerball numbers selected. Pros - All of the positives of "Playing the Field", plus the real chance of matching the main five numbers. Cons - The more numbers you choose as your main numbers, the more it will cost you (the same as playing systems but multiply it by 45 times).
